Dave as asked to step down from Treasurer on the 26th april 2009 but says he is still staying a club member, So the committee asked Mark Boyson (CA/20) to take on the role untill they can sort out a new Treasurer....

My enthusiasm for the Club is as strong as ever...strange as it sounds my wish for the Club to do well is my reason for standing down. I simply don't have the time to do the job, so with the Club's best interests at heart I have decided to let someone more able to commit a decent amount of time take on the role as Treasurer.

I have a fairly stresful full time job [6 and a half day week], a wife and 5 children, many Skoda restoration projects and I am Treasurer of the Skoda Owners' Club G.B. So, as you can imagine time is tight!

I've been doing the Skoda Club accounts for a few years now, so I have a bit of expereience of dealing with Club funds. With that in mind, I'm more than happy to offer help and advise to any future Treasurer if need.
